During the summer our basketball team always has a bottle drive, then during the season we use the money towards hoodies or something. But, this year we decided to put it towards a good cause! We had $200 to spend so we all went to Walmart on Sunday, Dec. 14th, to buy toys for the children in need. We thought that everyone deserves to have a Merry Christmas! We got a total of 47 items, what bargain shoppers!
That was a great idea to donate toys for a toy drive. After all how many hoodies can one person have? It was a great way to give back to the community and every kid does deserve a nice Christmas.
