During the summer our basketball team always has a bottle drive, then during the season we use the money towards hoodies or something. But, this year we decided to put it towards a good cause! We had $200 to spend so we all went to Walmart on Sunday, Dec. 14th, to buy toys for the children in need. We thought that everyone deserves to have a Merry Christmas! We got a total of 47 items, what bargain shoppers!

Monday, Dec. 15th- Home against EK

Tuesday, Dec. 16th- Home against CP (Var. only)

Friday, Dec. 19th- Home against PH

Today we have our first home game! Remember our EK game that was postponed? Well that's what today's game is! They were pretty good last year so it should be a pretty good game! Come and support your Lady Bulldogs!

Last night we over powered St. Lawrence 41-18. It was a very physical game, I had four fouls half way through the third quarter. There was this one girl who took her two hands and shoved Katie right in the back, it was so bad you could hear the smack of her hands on Katie's back! Kateri Stemmer got a T (technical) last night; she had just gotten in the game and she was dribbling down the court, got tripped and was laid out on the floor. So the other girl was laughing at Kateri and Kateri was like "HUH," so the ref gave her a T for supposedly taunting the other player. Who ever knew little old Kateri could get a T?

Today were headed to St. Lawrence, so let's kick some Larry butt! So what is a Larry anyway? Well I googled it and nothing seemed to make any sense for a mascot. Now we all know what a BULLDOG is! You know what I think I make that face when I hit a volleyball!

Bummer our first home game was post-poned to a later date. But guess what it was moved to next Monday December 15th. So be there or be square!

Friday we played Lisbon @ Lisbon, what a bus ride. First game of the season, it wasn't the best game that we've played but, we beat their booties. There was a girl on their team I swear was at least a head taller than both Candice, Cindy and Me. HUGE GIRL, but she was a twig so just put it right to her and shut her down, for the most part. Except for the few times that she shot over me, I would be standing tall and had my hands up as far as i could and she could still shoot over me! And if you don't know me I am 5 11". So she was a giant!

Today us Lady Bulldogs are headed off to Lisbon! Let's start this season off right and kick some booty! Let's do a repeat of Volleyball season!

This past weekend we had a scrimmage tournament @ Canton high school. There was four teams there Canton, General Brown, Watertown and of course your own Lady Bulldogs! We beat every single team there! O yeah were starting out the season great, let's keep it rolling Ladies!

Since Volleyball is over I think I'm going to change my blog over to a Girls Varsity Basketball Blog.

I don't know if everyone saw all of the amazing pics that people had took at the Final Four, so if you ahven't you should really check them out. Here is one of my favs that was taken by Mrs. Jocelyn Trombley on Saturday Nov. 15th, 2008. If anybody has ever seen me you know that I am a giant, so I was very impressed when I saw how high I actually jumped in this photo.

As a senior I want to thank my team mates for making it possible for us making it to the Final Four because it wouldn't have been possible without them. But, most importantly I want to thank Mr. Reynolds for making my High School volleyball experience one of the best experiences that I have ever had in High School. I won't ever forget any of my teammates or my coach Mr. Reynolds.

We are the #2 class D team in the State, not to bad! All of us are very honored for making it to the championship game, it is just kind of disappointing to get that far and not get what you are there to bring home. You just have to look on the positive side and remember that we are #2 and not #3 like last year.

Tomorows the day we leave for the Final Four! I'M SO EXCITED! We leave at 11:00 a.m. and everyone is going to say goodbye! So if you work or go to Chateaugay Central School we really appreciate all of the support we can get!

If we are one of the two teams that have the hightest records on Saturday, and advance to the Championship game. We would be playing Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

I personally want to say that all of you girls played Amazing on Saturday! Now let's go and do the same exact thing this coming Saturday! I know you all want the same as I do, now let's get it!

Awesome game Saturday, if you weren't there you missed something your gonna want to see! Don't worry you've got your chance! Saturday at the Final Four! The opening ceremony is at 8:00 a.m. Our first game is at 9:00 a.m. second game is at 12:00 p.m. and the third and final game is at 2:00 p.m. Now these times aren't set in stone, if the games are going slow then the games could later. You may be wondering why we have three games, well at the Final Four you play something that is called "Pool Play." In pool play you get a chance to play each team in a match that includes two games. The two teams with the highest final records go on to the championship game on Sunday.

Tomorrow is the Big Day! We are all so excited! Hope to see everyone who can make it there. Now if you don't know it's Saturday November 8th at Shenendahowa High School @ 3:00 p.m. We would appreciate all the support we can get. The louder the crowd the more pumped up we get! So be crazy and civilized at the same time.

COME ON LADIES WE ALL KNOW WE CAN DO IT AND SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE SO LET'S DO IT!

Our team never focuses on what could be in the future, we only focus on what is right in front of us. With this said, I am asking that the fans do the same by not telling you that we'll see you at the Final Four or well i'm not going to Saturday's game but i'll be at the Final Four. Now with this I am not saying that we don't want the same as you it's just we don't want it to get into our heads. Thank You very much! These same thoughts even come into our own minds but we just have to let it go. I'm not trying to say you can't, I am just asking that you don't.

Now all we have to do is bring oour "A" game on Saturday. As long as we play the way that we should play we can be unstopable.

The Lady Bulldogs are officially able to call themselves Section X Champs! We definitely brought our "A" game last night and pretty much slaughtered the "Blue Devils." Personally I feel that it is an amazing acomplishment for a D school to have the ability defeat the A-C schools in Section X.

They Lady Bulldogs defeated Malone last night which puts them into the final game, giving them a chance at getting the section X title back. They will play tomorrow night, Thursday Nov. 5th, time and place are still to be decided. But word on the street is that it could be at good ol'Chateaugay. Let's hope, so the seniors can get one last chance to play on the home court, EVER!

O yeah and unless you have a good excuse you better be at our game on Saturday!

If the Lady Bulldog's win Thursday night they could play their two year straight rival Loudonville Christian. Both Chateaugay and Loudonville Christian have records of 16-0. Both just have to win their sections in order to face off.
